Voicemail

Retrieve and manage your voicemail messages.

 

 

 

Listen to voicemail

 

1. New voicemails are indicated with badge notification

2. Click the Voicemail icon to access the Inbox

3. Press Play to listen to the message through PC speakers

 



 

4. Control playback by toggling Play button in player to show Pause control

5. Control volume by hovering over Speaker icon and adjusting slider

 

 

Options

 

1. Press horizontal ellipsis beside Play icon to display Voicemail options menu

	Play via phone		Audio plays through default Device
	Dial		Dial back caller automatically
	Reply...		Audio message interface
	Forward...		Audio message interface
	New...		Audio message interface
	Save		Move to Saved folder
	Delete		Move to Deleted folder

 



 

2. Play via phone streams message audio via your default Device

3. Dial automatically rings back the caller if their Caller ID appears in the message information

From	Shows sender Caller ID and Name if either a Company or Personal Contact
Subject	Title for message if sent from internal extension or conversation recording
Received	Date and time of message completion
Duration	Length of message in seconds and minutes

 

TIP Durations to keep messages before system purge are Saved: 10 days Deleted: 3 days and apply to all users. Contact your IPFX Administrator to discuss increasing or decreasing the default.

 

Record Greeting

 

To record your voicemail greeting:

 

1. Press the Presence button from Ribbon

2. Press drop-down and select Manage Greetings

3. From Name and Default Greeting link, press record icons and follow prompts

 



 

4. Your phone will automatically ring, answer and play Recording Menu

5. Menu keypress options Frequencies sent via phone keypad are 1: Listen to message 2: Record voice # (Hash key): Save recording

6. Press to save
